Shots fired into house in Melbourne's outer north

Multiple shots were fired into a suburban home in Melbourne's north on Sunday.

Police spokeswoman Kendra Jackson said a number of shots were fired into a Lalor house about 4.20am.

Police are investigating the circumstances behind a shooting in Lalor on Sunday.

"There were occupants inside at the time but no one was injured," she said.

The incident occurred in Coral Court.

Ms Jackson said the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are yet to be determined.
